ਅਮਰ ਸਿੰਘ ਚਮਕੀਲਾ ਆਪਣੇ ਸਮੇਂ ‘ਚ ਅਜਿਹੇ ਪੰਜਾਬੀ ਗਾਇਕ ਹੋਏ ਹਨ ।ਜਿਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੇ ਆਪਣੀ ਗਾਇਕੀ ਦੇ ਨਾਲ ਹਮੇਸ਼ਾ ਹੀ ਸਰੋਤਿਆਂ ਦਾ ਦਿਲ ਜਿੱਤਿਆ ਹੈ। ਸਰੋਤਿਆਂ ‘ਚ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਲੈ ਕੇ ਹਮੇਸ਼ਾ ਤੋਂ ਹੀ ਕਰੇਜ਼ ਰਿਹਾ ਹੈ। ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੇ ਗੀਤਾਂ ਦੀ ਤੂਤੀ ਪੂਰੇ ਪੰਜਾਬ ‘ਚ ਬੋਲਦੀ ਸੀ ।
