CONTESTANT RELEASE & PUBLICITY CLAUSE –SURTAAJ OF PUNJAB

PROJECT TITLE: SURTAAJ OF PUNJAB

PRODUCER/COMPANY: GALACTIC TELEVISION & COMMUNICATIONS PVT LTD (“the Company”)

1. GRANT OF RIGHTS (IRREVOCABLE)

The Contestant hereby grants to the Company, its affiliates, subsidiaries, successors, licensees, and assigns, the absolute, exclusive, irrevocable, unconditional, and unrestricted right and permission to record, film, photograph, and otherwise capture the Contestant’s name, likeness, image, voice, biographical information, performances, and any statements made by the Contestant (collectively, the “Material”) during and in connection with the production, rehearsal, promotion, publicity, marketing, advertising, distribution, exhibition, exploitation, and other use of the show/series titled “SURTAAJ OF PUNJAB” and/or any related or derivative program, content, or materials.

2. PERPETUAL, WORLDWIDE EXPLOITATION; PLATFORMS; PURPOSE

The Contestant acknowledges and agrees that the Company shall have the exclusive right (but not the obligation) to use, reproduce, record, re-record, edit, dub, subtitle, translate, modify, adapt, compile, excerpt, synchronize, publish, display, perform, distribute, transmit, communicate to the public,broadcast, stream, make available, advertise, publicize, and otherwise exploit the Material, in whole or in part, worldwide, in perpetuity, in any and all languages, and in any and all media and platforms now known or hereafter devised, whether now existing or developed in the future, including without limitation:

• Television: Satellite, cable, terrestrial, and digital broadcast.

• OTT / Digital / VOD: Streaming platforms, Video-on-Demand (VOD), AVOD/SVOD/TVOD, and the Company’s official websites/apps.

• Social Media & Online Platforms: YouTube, Facebook, Instagram, X (formerly Twitter), TikTok, and other emerging social networking platforms.

• Live Events & On-Ground Activations: Public performances, stage shows, fan meets, promotions, auditions, and events connected to the series and/or the Company.

• Promotional / Marketing / Advertising / Commercial Use: Use in trailers, teasers, promos, sizzles, television commercials, print/digital advertisements, posters, publicity stills, press releases, publicity articles, out-of-home (OOH) media, merchandising tie-ins, sponsor/brand integrations, and any other promotional, marketing, advertising, or commercial purposes relating to (i) the series “SURTAAJ OF PUNJAB” (including any season, episode, cut-down, recap, compilation, behind-the-scenes, outtakes, or derivative works) and/or (ii) the Company’s business, services, platforms, channels, events, and branding generally.

3. OWNERSHIP OF CONTENT

The Contestant agrees that all recordings, footage, stills, and edited versions of the Material created by the Company shall be considered a "work made for hire" and shall be the sole and exclusive property of Galactic Television & Communications Pvt Ltd. The Company shall hold all copyrights and intellectual property rights in the Material. The Contestant hereby waives any "moral rights" or "artist rights" they may have in the Material under any applicable law.

4. CONSIDERATION AND WAIVER

The Contestant acknowledges that the opportunity to participate in the show and the resulting public exposure constitutes full and sufficient consideration for the rights granted herein. The Contestant further expressly waives (i) any right to inspect and/or approve any recording, photograph, footage, edit, script, caption, copy, promotional material, or other use of the Material, and (ii) any claim for additional compensation, residuals, royalties, fees, or other remuneration of any kind, now or in the future, in connection with any use or exploitation of the Material by the Company and/or its affiliates, subsidiaries, successors, licensees, and assigns.

5. RELEASE AND INDEMNITY

The Contestant hereby releases and discharges the Company from any and all claims, demands, or causes of action that the Contestant may have now or in the future for libel, defamation, invasion of privacy, right of publicity, or any other infringement of rights arising out of or relating to the use of the Material.

6. GOVERNING LAW

This clause shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India. Any disputes arising from this grant of rights shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located at New Delhi.

7. Participant will not have any claim on any income arising out of the use of any footage used by GTC

Acknowledgment of Agreement: By participating in the production, the Contestant affirms that they have read and understood this clause and agree to be bound by its terms.
